Late A. Razzak Tabba was the founding director of Yunus Brothers Group and the group has since transformed into one of Pakistan’s largest industrial conglomerates and leading export houses in the country. With an aim to achieve growth and capacity building, YBG has made diversified investments in Cement, Textile, Chemicals, Real Estate Development and Energy Sector. Lucky Cement, the flagship company of Yunus Brothers Group was established by Late A. Razzak Tabba under whose able and visionary leadership the company has now become the largest producers and exporters of quality cement in Pakistan.

With Late Abdul Razzak Tabba at the helm, YBG received more than 20 Exports Trophies from Government of Pakistan for the highest overall exports from the country as well highest exports in the textile sector.

Late Abdul Razzak Tabba also served on the board of directors of National Bank of Pakistan and was actively involved in the policy making of the bank. In addition to this, he was also an active member of the board of governors of the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and member academic syndicate of DOW University of Health Sciences. He also rendered his services as a trustee of SAARC Health Foundation and World Memon Foundation Community Center. He was also the founding director of Pakistan Business Council (PBC).

Late Abdul Razzak Tabba passionately served humanity and championed the cause of the unfortunate people of our communities. The Aziz Tabba Foundation was established under the patronage of Late Abdul Razzak Tabba with the aim to provide humanitarian and welfare services as well as medical treatment of the highest standards to the poor and the needy. The Tabba Heart Institute operating under the aegis of Aziz Tabba Foundation is a dedicated cardiac care hospital comprising of 170 beds with a primary objective to promote excellence in the field of cardiovascular health at affordable rates. Similarly, Tabba Kidney Institute is a 100 beds specialized institution providing comprehensive care and treatment of nephro-urological disorder. Both these institutions are equipped with state-of-the-art-equipment and run by highly qualified medical professionals.

In 2005 for his unwavering commitment to serve the nation and the society at large, the government of Pakistan conferred upon Late Abdul Razzak Tabba “Sitara-e-Imtiaz,” one of the highest civilian awards. This tribute recognizes the meritorious contributions of Late Abdul Razzak Tabba in the economic development of Pakistan, his entrepreneurial accomplishments and philanthropic initiatives.

Late Abdul Razzak Tabba strived for excellence and left behind a legacy of compassion and benevolence. He is a legend who exemplifies the charitable responsibility that comes with affluence and power.

Mr. Muhammad Yunus Tabba, The Chairman of the Group, started his 40-year long career with YBG as one of its founding members and has seen it progress through manufacturing, sales management, marketing management and general management. With his expertise and diversified experience, he has taken YBG to a level which is appreciated by local and international business communities. Muhammad Yunus Tabba has also been awarded “Businessman of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce, several times during his career.

Under Mr. Yunus Tabba’s leadership, the Group has achieved many breakthroughs and has received many awards from local and international institutions.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Tabba is the Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Cement Ltd. who assumed this office in 2005. He also serves as the Chief Executive of Yunus Textile Mills Ltd., a state-of-the-art home textile mills with subsidiaries in the US, UK & France. Simultaneously spearheading both these organizations, he also provides strategic vision as Vice Chairman of ICI Pakistan which is a market leader in the field of Soda Ash, Chemicals, Polyester and Life Sciences.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Tabba started his career with YBG (YBG) - a family conglomerate, in 1991. YBG is one of the premier business houses in Pakistan with diversified interests in Textiles, Energy, Chemicals, Cement and Real Estate Development. Thanks to its stellar performances, the Group’s annual turnover is around $1.6 billion and its annual export is close to $600 million, which contributes substantially to the overall exports of Pakistan.

Mr. Tabba also serves as a Board Member of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the premier trade organization of the country which works under the Federal Ministry of Commerce. He is also a Trustee of the Fellowship Fund for Pakistan (FFFP) which sponsors and sends a top Pakistani Scholar every year to the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a Think Tank based in Washington D.C. In addition to these important roles, Mr. Tabba is also on Board with Pakistan Business Council (PBC), a business advocacy forum comprising of leading private-sector businesses. He has been nominated on board of Pakistan - India Joint Business Council (PIJBC), which promotes trade between the two countries. Mr. Tabba is also the Chairman of All Pakistan Cement Manufacturing (APCMA), a regulatory body of cement manufacturers in Pakistan.

A generous philanthropist with extensive engagements in many community welfare projects, Mr. Tabba serves on the Board of Governors at numerous renowned Universities, Institutions and Foundations. He is the Vice Chairman of a Not-for-Profit Organization, Aziz Tabba Foundation that is working extensively in the field of education, health and housing. The Foundation runs state-of-the-art cardiac hospital, Tabba Heart Institute and a kidney center; Tabba Kidney Institute. Aziz Tabba Foundation’s mission is to provide humanitarian and welfare service to community at large from all over Pakistan.

Recognizing his commitments in the social development sector of the country, World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2010 bestowed the title of Young Global Leader (YGL) to Mr. Tabba in recognition of his outstanding services and contributions.

He has brought accolades to the family business as it gained a prominent reputation for development and inculcation of modern and updated technology in the industries.

Mr. Sohail Tabba is the chairman for Lucky Paragon Ready Mix Limited, serves on the board of ICI Pakistan Limited, Yunus Textile Mills Limited, Lucky Textile Mills Limited and Lucky Cement Limited, the leading cement manufacturer and exporter of Pakistan. Mr. Sohail Tabba’s business activities include general commodity trading, power generation and construction, which has given him a profound understanding of both domestic and international markets and thorough knowledge of the market and future trends.

Mr. Sohail Tabba is a philanthropist and he devotes his free time in improving lives of the poverty stricken and ailing citizens of Pakistan. He is a founder member of the Child Life Foundation (CLF) and serves as the Director of Tabba Heart Institute (THI) and Aziz Tabba Foundation (ATF). Mr. Sohail Tabba is also a founder member of Italian Development Council (IDC).

Ms. Mariam Tabba Khan took over not-for-profit Tabba Heart Institute (THI) as Chief Executive Officer on 2nd of June, 2005, immediately after the sad and sudden demise of her philanthropist father Mr. Abdul Razzak Tabba. Although she had acquired an MBA, she was not involved in her father’s business ventures in his lifetime. But after his death she took the challenge of establishing and running the state-of-the-art Tabba Heart Institute. The hospital is serving its patients with dedication, commitment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and transparency in her leadership. The hospital which is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified Facility, is recognized by College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for imparting post-graduate training in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. Also, THI is giving a Diploma in Cardiac Nursing, recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

She is a popular full time CEO of the hospital and her presence gives an energetic boost to her entire team.
